Important information
  • The experience will be postponed in bad weather.
  • Minimum age 12 years and height 1.40m
  • Passengers under 18 years of age will only be transported if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Please note that balloon flights are not possible without restrictions during pregnancy from the third month, after an operation, with a new hip, knee or other joint. In this case, we require the confirmation and approval of your GP. Ballooning is a sporting activity.
  • A balloon flight for people with disabilities is not possible for safety reasons.
  • Please bring: sturdy, flat shoes; sporty clothing suitable for the weather; headgear; sunglasses.
  • Please note that due to the size of the basket, it is not possible to carry bags and rucksacks.

From 30 April to 2 May 2026, more than 20 hot-air balloons will take to the skies above Germany's largest theme park. From a height of around 800 meters, guests can explore Europa-Park from a bird's eye view and at the same time get a spectacular view from the Black Forest over the Rhine valley all the way to the Vosges mountains. In the evening, participants can let their eyes wander over the exceptionally beautiful landscape for about an hour and ride towards the sunset. The guests' meeting point for the obligatory introduction is at 4.30pm in the lobby of hotel 'Santsa Isabel'.

On 02. May, there will also be the opportunity to enjoy the sunrise over the Ortenau region in the morning. The meeting point for guests for the obligatory introduction is also in the lobby of hotel Santsa Isabel' at 5.30am.

Unfortunately, it will not be possible to start the balloon flight in bad weather conditions and it will have to be postponed.
